Setuvio exists because of a specific structural gap: millions of Indian professionals build their working lives in the Gulf while their financial lives remain in India, and no efficient channel connects the two. We are building that channel as infrastructure.

Mission
To make distance irrelevant to whether a creditworthy person can reach the institutions that would serve them.
An Indian engineer in Dubai and an Indian engineer in Pune can have identical earnings, identical records and identical intentions. Only one of them is straightforward for an Indian institution to acquire, verify and underwrite. That asymmetry is not a credit problem — it is an infrastructure problem, and infrastructure problems are solvable.
Solving it well means being useful to both sides at once: a channel that genuinely lowers acquisition cost for institutions, and a process that genuinely saves customers from proving the same facts to five providers in turn. Anything that serves only one side is not infrastructure. It is arbitrage, and it does not last.
Operating principles
Four commitments the product is built around.
These are constraints on how the platform is built, not values on a wall. Each one rules out a shortcut that would have been commercially convenient.
The decision stays with the institution
We qualify; we never adjudicate. Every part of the product is built so that the boundary between assessment and credit decision is unambiguous to institutions, to customers and to regulators.
Quality is measured, not claimed
Lead quality means nothing until outcomes come back. We instrument the whole corridor and share the same numbers with our partners that we use ourselves.
Consent is specific
Customer data goes to the institution a customer chose, for the purpose they agreed to. We do not broadcast profiles to a panel of lenders and we do not broker personal data.
Operate in-market
Reaching the diaspora properly requires being where they are. The acquisition operation is in the UAE because it cannot credibly be run from anywhere else.
Direction

The UAE is where the company is built and where the model has to be proven. Everything beyond it is direction of travel, not presence — we operate in one market today.
